Valarie Sheppard
Valarie A. Sheppard '86 is a Lead Human Capital Specialist at the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Federal Agency that supports the Congress in meeting its constitutional responsibilities and helps improve the performance and accountability of the federal government for the benefit of the American people. After earning her Bachelor's in Psychology at Washington College and her Masters in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University of Akron, Valarie has spent the last 20 years working in a variety of Human Resources and Human Capital organizations and agencies. In addition, she has been employed by Washington College as an Adjunct Professor in the Psychology Department. As one of the longest serving officers of the Alumni Association Valarie has served as a Member of Large, Vice President and President of the former Alumni Council and presently serves on the Alumni Board as the Chair of the Committee on the Alliance.
